2025 was a year of growth! We gained more new members and our membership continued to increase to around 130 thanks in part to Come and Try nights where anyone could come and try skiing with us. Our junior team was also an active part in gaining new younger members and families. We reintroduced some acts that hadn't been seen in a few years like around the boat and more swivel acts. We hosted the Central Regional Tournament at our ski site with over 60 individual competitors and 9 teams competing. Backwater placed 3rd at Central Regionals, with our jump team winning the Team Jump individual event! At the National Tournament in Janesville, WI, our team placed 11th and the jump team placed 4th in the individual team jump event. The theme was "Backwater Kingdom Quest for the Holy Grail". The show directors were Caden Ridgley, Colby Ridgley and Collin Ridgley.
