2023 - Backwater Odyssey

In 2023, we debuted several new acts in our show including a tandem act with a barefooter pulling a jumper, swiveler pulling a swiveler, strap doubles couple pulling a swiveler, and a pyramid pulling a pyramid. We brought back our hotpick ballet line and swivel act, both acts we hadn't had in our show for several years. Our swivel act included several new moves with a 3-2 toe turn pyramid, and a toe turn hot picking another swiveler. We maintained a membership of around 120. Our stage show was intricate with an ongoing battle between Hades and the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus, including appearances by Medusa, Athena, and a giant kraken. The show was narrated by Hermes played by Collin Ridgley who was then selected to be an announcer for Team USA in 2025. We traveled to Warsaw, Indiana for both the Central Regional tournament and the Division 1 National Tournament. We placed 3rd at Central Regionals, and 9th at Nationals. The theme was "Backwater Odyssey". The show director was Elisabeth Cross with assistant Larry Anderson.
