2018 - Backwater Breakout

Our membership dropped slightly compared to the previous years with around 140 members. We suffered minor flooding in June and had to cancel several shows. The high water and swift current led us to the decision to not host our Central Region Tournament in July which was then moved to Warsaw, IN. Michael Becker and Kennedy Scott won the individual Strap Doubles competition at the Central Regional Tournament and the team placed 2nd. At the National Tournament in Janesville, WI, we placed 6th with David Claver winning the Skip Gilkerson award for most valuable male skier in the nation! The theme was "Backwater Breakout." The show directors were David Anderson, Pat Braet and Elisabeth Cross.
