2008 began with a flood. We didn't get on the water for the most of June and then were flooded again for part of July. The first tournament that we were scheduled to attend was the Mercury Invitational Tournament in Janesville Wisconsin. Due to the flooding, this tournament was canceled. We place 2nd at the Central Region Tournament held in Warsaw, Indiana. We were scheduled to host the Division II National Tournament. Because of the flooding on the Rock River, this tournament was moved to Indiana. The National Tournament was suppose to be held in Janesville, Wisconsin, but floods forced the tournament to move to Wisconsin Rapids. We skied first on Sunday morning in 42 degree weather. We did remarkably well for the limited skiing that we had all season. We brought home an 8th place victory. "Corporate Merger" was the name of this year's theme. Brint and Gail Burrill were the Show Directors.
