2003 - Paradise Variety Theater

Show Director: Scott Allender & Chris Ridgley

Central Regional Tournament: 1st place

National Tournament: 3rd place

We competed in the Kelly Allender Memorial Show Tournament in Waterloo Iowa. We won awards for best pickup boat crew, best tow boat crew, best sound and music, highest scoring tournament act (for our prefab pyramids) and won 1st place. At the Regional tournament, we took best pickup boat, best tow boat driving, best sound and music and took 1st place. At the Division I Nationals, Chris Ridgley won the Willa Cook (best female skier in the nation) award. We took 3rd place, only being beat by 2 points (Mad City Ski Team). We had the highest scoring tournament act with our 8 skiers around the boat. This is a tie for our previous World Record, but this time it was performed behind an outboard. Driver Brint Burrill set the record with skiers Adam Place, David Claver, Trista Menzer, Mark Van Osdel, Larry Anderson, Brian Dennison, David Anderson and Paul Becker. We came in second place in tow boat driving and showmanship. The Show was called "Paradise Variety Theater". The Show Directors were Chris Ridgley and Scott Allender.
